🌾 I really enjoyed Harvest Season. Brynne Weaver’s writing is fun, exciting, and always manages to keep me engaged. She has a way of mixing romance, darkness, suspense, and humor without allowing the story to become too heavy.
🌻 Harper continues to be one of my favorite parts of the Seasons of Carnage trilogy. She is funny, witty, and wonderfully sassy, and I love those qualities about her character. Even when she is dealing with darker situations, her personality continues to shine through.
😠 I also really liked Arthur—the lovable, grumpy old man. His personality added another layer to the story, but it was his relationship with Harper that affected me the most.
💔 The love between Harper and Arthur felt genuine, deep, and incredibly sad. Their bond gave the story so much heart. Beneath all the humor, violence, and chaos was a truly emotional relationship that made me care deeply about both characters.
🔪 Harvest Season delivered everything I enjoy about Brynne Weaver’s writing: entertaining characters, dark humor, excitement, emotion, and just the right amount of carnage. This was a great continuation of the trilogy, and I remained invested from beginning to end.
🌙 Julie’s Final Verdict
Harvest Season was a fun, exciting, and emotional continuation of The Seasons of Carnage trilogy. Harper’s witty and sassy personality made her such an enjoyable character to follow, while Arthur’s grumpy nature made me love him even more.
The deep and heartbreaking bond between Harper and Arthur was the most meaningful part of the story for me. Brynne Weaver balanced that emotion with her signature humor, suspense, romance, and darkness, creating another entertaining story that kept me engaged throughout.
