📖 The Ghostwriter by Julie Clark
Wow—what an ending! The Ghostwriter pulled me in within the first few chapters. Life was very different in 1975, and so much happened to children during that time that was rarely discussed. This book brings some of those difficult experiences into the light. I loved following Poppy through her days as she tried to find herself while navigating life with two older brothers. Her story planted itself in my mind. Even when I had to put the book down, I kept thinking about everything I had read and couldn’t wait to pick it back up. This was an incredibly engaging story with a wonderfully constructed plot—and that ending made it even better! This was my first Julie Clark novel, but it definitely won’t be my last.
